Traffic Gadget

HomepageDownload buttonThe Traffic Gadget is one of Microsoft’s featured windows 7 gadgets. It connects to Bing Maps and fetches traffic information from your selected city. Roads are highlighted with a color to display the speed of traffic, green being fast, yellow and red being slower and gray being a complete stop.

This desktop gadget helps you decide what route to take home from work, how to not get late for that very important meeting etc. Why not install a computer in your car? Just think of all those windows 7 gadgets you could enjoy on the road!

Unfortunately Bing Maps only seems to be providing traffic information for the major cities in the US, and only for the larger roads, but that might improve in the future. The gadget should work on both win7 and Windows Vista.

FOR OH FOR — nothing there — thought this site would host the now ‘lost’ windows gadgets but it only redirects to the now non functional windows site.

“Traffic Gadget | Windows 7 Gadgets” seriously makes
me personally contemplate a small amount further.
