CPU Meter Gadget
The CPU Meter Gadget comes installed with Windows 7. Having the form of two speed meters, it provides an easy but simple view on your computers resources. It shows both CPU usage and Ram usage.

Cons
- Can only display information for one CPU.
- Not configurable at all.
The CPU Meter is currently on the desktop of all my computers running Windows 7, because it is small enough not to be in the way and provides the information I need. There are of course more advanced monitoring gadgets out there, but unless you need graphs showing CPU usage over time etc this gadget might be something for you!
