GPU Observer Gadget

It can show temperatures, fan speeds, loads, memory usage and clock speed to help you keep an eye out for overheating or faulty graphic cards. You can even run several instances of the gadget if you have got more than one graphic card.

This is my personal favorite of all the windows 7 gadgets I’ve tested, so try it out yourself!

The back-end of this win7 gadget uses technology like nTune, NVAPI and ATIADL to determine GPU information.

Pretty solid I really like the interface and options, if you guys could make a all in one with CPU loads and temps you will have a hot seller!

i dno if anyone else is having this problem. but my gadget doesnt seem to read the temperature of my hd 4870 mobility crossfire. all it shows is 0 degs celcius all the time even when its obviously hotter than that. specialy because i run crysis warhead. im pretty sure it gets hotter than 0 degs. does this even work with my graphics cards? its also not registering fan speed % does this work with crossfire x?

i get the same 0 degs/no fan speed problem, even though it recognised my card straight away (ATI HD 3200). i wonder if this is a laptop problem… :(

gpu obs is not compatible with ati mobile cards it gets inform from windows about card type btu cannot read its sensors

I like this software, but I use windows in a virtual machine (parallels 5). It says GPU not found. How can I trick it in order to recognize my GPU? Thank you in advance!

I love the idea, but it keeps crashing for me while in games. Using a Radeon 4870, latest drivers, Windows 7 x64.

Dose not even pick up my card…. I have all the other gadgets from this guy like Drive Meter, CPU Usage, and Network Meter. I really like them and they work great but this one just dose not work for me for some reason.

Great. Works fine with a Radeon HD 5450. The only tool I know that measures GPU usage.

The gadget works perfectly on my GTX 460. I love the fact that it can read the vpu load, much like for a cpu. Havent heard that any other program can do that. Anyway, its an excellent piece of work. Props to the creator.

is this work for switchable graphic??
when I use intel integrated gpu,it shows “gpu not found”, and after I switch my gpu,then it’s still shows “gpu not found”..
if I want to see it,i must restart my notebook with currently ati radeon gpu…

Hello, great gadget i use it well with my desktop.

Since i bought asus 1215n netbook with dual GPU cards ION and Intel 3100 this gadget not work propetly. Many users would love to see witch GPU is under use because there’s no such small and perfect tool to show it like this gadget. Could you assemble option to show 2 GPU when system had and show witch one is active ?

Not that great. The gadget doesn’t alarm you with a popup or sound if you’re card is reaching a user set max temperature. I found a better gadget that does have it plus a lot more.

Good gadget but crashes my video card while in games. If i want to play i need to close this gadget.

Nice when it works. I have to add it every time I turn my laptop on. The only thing that shows on startup is a white box. I then have to close it and the open the gadget box and add it back to the sidebar.

This is the best GPU Gadget I have found. Found my card and everything right away. NVIDA GeForce GTS 450. Everything is monitored correctly. Cudo’s to the developers of this one.

Disappointing! Lots and lots of “GPU not found” and “doesn’t work with…” comments, but no response to them. A small FAQ would be nice, as I assume you have put considerable time into this. No go with the Radeon 6870.
